Juliane Braun
Molecular Cell Biology
Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg
Germany
Biography
"Juliane studied biochemistry at the Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg and the Universidad de Valencia. During her PhD thesis, she investigated the molecular biological impact of miR-200 and miR-30 on the epithelial-mesenchymal transition in anaplastic thyroid carcinomas. She developed miTRAP, an in vitro purification strategy for the identification of regulatory microRNAs of a target RNA. With this method, she will investigate the influence of oncoproteins such as IGF2BP and tumor suppressive microRNAs on the development and progression of anaplastic thyroid carcinomas. She is Scientific Coordinator of GRK1591 ."
