Biography

"Marlen studied biology at the MLU and completed her diploma thesis at the Leibniz Institute for Plant Biochemistry in Halle. In the laboratory of Dierk Scheel, she dealt in detail with the cellular signal transduction in  A. thaliana . Since 2008, Marlen has been working as a PhD student in our lab to identify IGF2BP2-target mRNAs. Their goal is to analyze the role of IGF2BP2 in the regulation of glucose homeostasis. "
