"Born in 1967 in Kiel 1989-1994 studied theology in Kiel, Marburg and Oxford 1994-1995 Guest lecturer for German at the Orthodox Theological Faculty of Sofia University 1995-1997 PhD at the Christian-Albrechts-University Kiel with Prof. Dr. med. R. Staats on the topic ""John Chrysostom and the Syrian monasticism"" 1997-1999 Vicariate in Kiel 1999-2000 Foreign Vicar at St. Anne's Church in the City of London 2000-2002 Pastoral assistant for the German-speaking community London East 2002-2003 Pastor for the German community Sofia / Bulgaria 2003-2006 lecturer of the leading clerical service at the main church St. Jacobi in Hamburg 2006-2012 parish pastor at the Hamburger Michel Since September 2012 in the Department of Orthodoxy, General Ecumenism and Scholarships in the Church Office of the Evangelical Church in Germany, Hanover Since 2014 co-editor of the Ecumenical Rundschau Since winter semester 2014 lectureships at the Theological Faculty of the MLU December 2015 Habilitation in Eastern Church Studies at the MLU on ""Dialogue - Narration - Transformation: The Bilateral Theological Dialogues of the EKD and the BEK with Orthodox Patriarchates since 1959"".
