"Born in 1967, married to five children 1987-1994: Study of Protestant theology in Halle, Jena, Bern, Kiel, and Tübingen 1994: First Theology Examination ( Diploma ) at MLU in Halle 1994-1997: Doctoral grant of the federal state of Saxony-Anhalt 1997: Doctorate in theology at Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg; awarded the Luther Medal in 1998 1997-1999: Instructor of religion at secondary schools in Hoyerswerda and Weißwasser 1998-2000: Vicar (Pastor-in-training) at the Parish of Rietschen (Protestant Church of the Silesian Upper Lusatia) 2000: Second Theology Examination in Görlitz 2000: Ordination in Magdeburg 2000-2002: School Pastor in Wernigerode and Instructor at the Pedagogical-Theological Institute in Drübeck 2002: Awarded the certificate of license to serve as pastor 2002-2006: Research Assistant at the University of Münster 2004 Habilitation and venia legendi for religious education Since 2006: Professor of Protestant Religious Pedagogy at the Faculty of Theology, Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg 2009/10: Deputy Dean 2010-2012 Dean of the Faculty of Theology Since Winter 2011/12: Co-opted member of the Faculty of Philosophy III (Pedagogy)"
