Biography
Born 1967. Married, four children. Graduated from the Karlsgymnasium Stuttgart in 1986. Studied law in Tübingen (winter 1987/88 to summer 1989), Geneva (winter 1989/90 to summer 1990) and Erlangen (winter 1990/91 to summer 1992); First state examination in law in 1992, second state examination in 1994. Since 1992 research associate and assistant at the Hans-Liermann-Institut for Canon Law (chair Prof. Dr. Christoph Link) at the law faculty Erlangen ; there 1999 PhD, 2001 Habilitation for the subjects of state and administrative law and canon law. Since October 2002 Professor of Public Law, State Church Law and Canon Law at the Law Faculty of the Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg. Since 2008 co-opted member of the Theological Faculty .
