Biography

She is a gynecologist with a good years of experience in Gynecology with special training and experience in gynecological and gynae cancer surgeries using minimal access (hysteroscopy, laparoscopyc and robotics). She had completed her post-graduation in Obstetrics and Gynecology from Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi, India (a 695 bedded Asia’s 1st JCI accredited hospital). Thereafter, she Continued to work there as a gynecologist for another 3 years before joining Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Ahalia Hospital, Abu Dhabi, UAE as a Specialist Gynecologist. She has been involved in providing quality health care to women in India and UAE. she has a rich academic, clinical, surgical and research background with numerous papers and presentations in national and international conferences. She has been involved actively in increasing the awareness of women towards cancers, osteoporosis, etc. She has been the Editor of Ahalia Medical News. Currently, she is working as a Consultant in the Department of Gynae Surgical Oncology at Galaxy Cancer Institute, Pushpanjali Crosslay Hospital, Delhi-NCR, India. The focus of her practice is Gynecology and Gynecologic Oncology exclusively. She does not practice Obstetrics. She is pursuing Postgraduate Diploma in Medico legal Systems (PGDMLS). With her training and passion towards working for women’s health, she has a future vision of Setting up a Minimal and Natural Access Gynecologic and Gynecologic Cancer Surgery Unit With advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgeries for benign gynecologic diseases and Gynecologic malignancies.
