Biography
Dr. Misael Uribe Esquivel serves as Chairman of the Board and Executive President of Medica Sur, S.A.B. de C.V. He has been working for the Company for more than 35 years. He has worked at Instituto Nacional de Nutricion Salvador Zubiran, Consejo Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnologia (CONACYT), Fundacion Clinica Medica Sur, Sistema Nacional de Investigadores and Sociedad Latinoamericana de Hepatologia, among others. He is associated with such Scientific Groups as Asociacion de Medicos del Instituto Nacional de la Nutricion, American Medical Association, Mayo Alumni and Asociacion Mexicana de Gastroenterologia, la Asociacion de Medicina Interna de Mexico, Bokus Int. Society of Gastroenterology, la Sociedad Franco Mexicana, la Sociedad Mexicana de Nutricion y Endocrinologia, American College of Physicians Fellow, AASLD American Association for the Study of the Liver, la Asociacion Mexicana de Hepatologia, la International Association for the Study of the Liver, and el Consejo de Gobernadores de Gastroenterologia/Medicina Interna, among others.
