Biography
Steven H. (Steve) Holtzman is Member of Board of the Directors of Molecular Partners Ltd. He joined Biogen Idec in early 2011 as its Executive Vice President, Corporate Development with responsibility for Business Development and M&A, and Program Leadership & Management. From 2001 to 2010, he served as the founder, Chief Executive Officer and chairman of Infinity Pharmaceuticals, a cancer drug discovery and development company. From 1994 to 2001, he was the CBO of Millennium Pharmaceuticals, a pioneer in genetic and genomic technologies. In this role, at various times he was responsible for all non-R&D functions of the company. From 1986 to 1994, he was a founder, member of the Board of Directors and the executive vice-president of DNX Corp, the first transgenic animal technology company. Mr. Holtzman is a member of the Board of Directors or trustee of the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO), PMV Pharma (a private biotechnology company), and The Berklee College of Music. From 1996-2001, he served as a Presidential appointee to the U.S. National Bioethics Advisory Commission.
