Biography
Mr Klaus-Günter Vennemann was born on 12 April 1954 in Duisburg. After attending technical college in Duisburg (electrical engineering), he held various managerial positions in the USA (Getrag Gears of America Inc./Executive Vice President Operations) and in Germany (Vice President Manufacturing at Getrag GmbH & Cie., Managing Director at LuK Fahrzeug-Hydraulik GmbH & Co. KG, LuK GmbH & Co. and TRW Fahrwerksysteme GmbH). After 16 years as a member of the management at LuK GmbH & Co. oHG (part of the Schaeffler Group) and as Head of Marketing at Schaeffler Automotive, in 2009 Mr Vennemann joined Siteco Lighting GmbH, Traunreut (a subsidiary of OSRAM AG since 7.2011), as Chairman of the Management Board and partner. Since October 2012, Mr Vennemann has been working on a freelance basis as a corporate and management consultant as part of his mandates on supervisory committees. Mr Vennemann has mandates as a member of the Advisory Board of automotive supplier Kamax Dr. Rudolf Kellermann GmbH and of the Supervisory Board of KSPG AG and Rheinmetall AG.
