Dr. Jens Hjerling-Leffler Division of Molecular Neurobiology, Department of Medical Biochemistry and Biophysic – The European Neuroscience Institute at Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm
Research Interest
Our research group is interested in the genetic and cellular mechanisms of the development and function of the brain´s inhibitory system. We apply advanced mouse genetics in combination with electrophysiology and traditional molecular methods. We are also developing a behavioral paradigm using cell specific pharmaco-genetics.
