Biography
André Roggan’s commenced his professional career in 1991 as a Project Manager at Laser-Medizin-Zentrum Berlin and Freie University of Berlin followed by a position as Technical Director at Laser- und Medizin-Technologie GmbH in 1998. He became Director of Research & Development at Celon AG in 2001 and was promoted to Chief Technology Officer in 2004. With his appointment as Chief Executive Officer of Celon AG in 2008, André Roggan managed the company’s full integration into Olympus Winter & Ibe GmbH where in April 2012 he was appointed as Speaker of the Board of Directors while simultaneously assuming the role of Managing Director of Gyrus Medical Ltd., Cardiff, UK, Olympus Medical Products Czech spol. s ro, Prerov, Czech Republic, and Gyrus Medical GmbH, Tuttlingen, Germany. In April 2013 he was promoted to Executive Managing Director and Chairman of Olympus Surgical Technologies Europe Group as well as Managing Director of Olympus Europa SE & CO. KG.
