Biography
I am a postdoctoral researcher at Research Domain 3 of the Potsdam Institute working on climate impacts, climate mitigation, and the integrated assessment of both of these. At the moment I focus on deriving and understanding impacts of climate change on long-term development of societies and economies. In the last years, I wrote papers on international technology policy, solution algorithms for integrated assessment models, and public finance aspects of climate policy. I am also a member of the REMIND integrated assessment modelling group at PIK. I joined PIK in 2012 for my PhD in economics with Prof. Ottmar Edenhofer after graduating from University of Würzburg with a Diplom degree in physics.
Research Interest
Anselm Schultes graduated from University of Wuerzburg with a Diplom degree in physics. His work as a PhD student in the macro-economic modelling group revolves around improvements to the representation of the economy in integrated assessment models like REMIND.
