Biography
He is a PostDoc in the Department of Research Earth System Analysis at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Research, Germany.
Research Interest
I focus my research on the effects of climate and land-use change on tropical forests with implications for sustainable ecosystem management. I am interested in combining various methodological approaches including remote sensing data analysis, statistical model development and field measurements. I have experience in using techniques from complexity sciences (such as complex networks and complexity measures in time series) to analyze non-linearities, feedbacks and interactions in the Earth System.
