Dr. Stefan Lange
PostDoc
Climate Impacts and Vulnerabilities
Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research
Germany
Biography
I obtained a diploma in physics at TU Dresden in 2011. As a member of the IRTG 1740 I then studied for my PhD in theoretical physics at PIK, INPE and HU Berlin. Since 2015, thanks to CRESCENDO, I work with Katja Frieler and Douglas Maraun on an improvement of the ISIMIP bias-correction method. He is now a PostDoc in the Department of Climate Impacts & Vulnerabilities at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Research, Germany.
Research Interest
Development of a statistical method for bias correction of global climate model results (Research Area: Global Impact Assessments)
