Biography
I am a PhD Student in RD1 - Earth System Analysis, more specifically working on the side effects of terrestrial climate engineering as an anthropogenic CO2 sink. This includes the modeling of biomass plantations, land-cover changes and water management, in LPJmL. I am also interested in the concept of planetary boundaries as a way of quantifying the status of several important dimensions of the Earth System and thus facilitate resilience and sustainable development. Previously I have studied Geophysics at the LMU in Munich. My Topics there included Geodynamics, Fluid Dynamics, Mantle Convection, Plate Motion Simulation and High Performance Computing.
Research Interest
Geophysical modeling on large clusters, visualization, plate tectonics, fluid dynamics
