Biography
Diploma in Hydrology, Technische Universität Dresden, 2007 Thesis: Comparative analysis and modelling of the water balance of different land use types under similar atmospheric conditions on basis of micrometeorological measurements.
Research Interest
My work is focused on global change impacts on the water cycle with an emphasis on water resources, food production and human-environment interaction. Further research interests include the potential of small-scale water and soil management practices as adaptation measures and the role of water as an essential asset for livelihood and sustainable development.
