Biography
He is a PostDoc in the Department of Climate Impacts & Vulnerabilities at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Research, Germany.
Research Interest
Louise joined the PRIMAP group at PIK in January 2013 and leads the emissions module component of the PRIMAP model. The emissions module enables analysis of multiple greenhouse gas emission datasets in support of the international climate change negotiations. Louise examines the pledges, rules, and agreements of the UN climate change negotiations, providing critique and assessment of their effectiveness. Her published work includes analysis of how mitigation burdens can be shared fairly among countries and assessments of the sufficiency of current climate action plans.
