Biography

Mr. Ralf Kraehmer, Ph.D. co-founded Celares GmbH in 2003 and serves as its Chief Scientific Officer. Mr. Kraehmer became senior scientist in the field of process chemistry, especially of contract GMP manufacturing of drug candidates for clinical testing at CarboGen (Switzerland). He was head of synthetic chemistry at Medical Enzymes AG, where he was responsible for the development of polymer-based delivery systems for the modification of biotechnological drugs. He has studied chemistry in Leipzig, Germany. He is a postdoctoral fellowship at the Natural Products and Glycotechnology Research Institute (USA).

Research Interest

Mr. Guenther Paetz co-founded Celares GmbH in 2003 and serves as its Chief financial officer. Mr. Paetz has several years of experience in the fields of finance and controlling. He participated in a trainee program at the Deutsche Kredit Bank he worked as assistant to the management board at the Deutsche Kreditbank (DKB, Berlin, Germany), founded a subsidiary and was responsible for finance and marketing in that company. He was head of controlling for financial and marketing matters at the internet service company Immobilienscout (Berlin, Germany). He also gained valuable experience in managing biotechnology companies while working as commercial director at Medical Enzymes AG (Berlin, Germany). He graduated from Business School (Zurich, Switzerland).
