Joerg Neermann

Biography

Joerg Neermann is Partner at LSP Life Science Partners since 2007. He is responsible for sourcing, selecting and managing investments in privately held life science companies primarily in the German speaking region, but also in other European geographies. He currently also serves on the Supervisory Boards of Affimed (Germany), Curetis (Germany), Eyesense (Switzerland) and Ventaleon (Germany). Dr Neermann began his venture capital career in 1996 at Atlas Venture. In 1998, he joined DVC Deutsche Venture Capital, a subsidiary of Deutsche Bank AG, where he became Managing Partner in 2002. Dr Neermann holds a Master’s degree in Biotechnology from TU Braunschweig and received his Ph.D. in 1996.
