Biography
After studying Chemistry Dr. Hinzen joined Bayer AG, where he worked in a variety of capacities in chemical drug development and marketing. Today he is the Head of a Business Development and Licensing Group, one of four business units of Bayer-Schering Pharma, Berlin, Germany; he is responsible for the cardiovascular system segment (incl. Cardiology) as well as Anti-Infections, Diabetes, Urology and Pulmonology.
