Biography
Dr. Georg Melmer is CEO as well as CSO of Pharmedartis. He is co-founder of Pharmedartis. He holds a diploma in chemistry and psychology and a Ph.D. in molecular biology and genetics. Spending 6 years in Canada and the UK he became an expert in human inherited diseases and was a team member of the group that cloned the gene causative for cystic fibrosis.
Research Interest
He has worked for big pharmaceutical companies (research diagnostics) and introduced over 20 products. He worked in several German biotech companies in several functions (scientific director, business development, CFO, CEO). Dr. Melmer published over 50 scientific papers. In addition he wrote almost 200 articles for economic journals on biotech and pharma stocks. He has over 25 years of stock-market experience.
