Biography
Alexander Zacher has over 15 years’ experience in environmental consulting in the fields of contaminated site investigation and remediation, site evaluation and risk-management audits. He is responsible for the management and direction of environmental projects including intrusive and non-intrusive soil and groundwater investigations of contaminated land, drafting feasibility studies and managing remedial action, and performing asbestos surveys, environmental due diligence audits, compliance audits and risk assessments. He has participated in the claims management of spill incidents, fire losses, building or construction machine damages and the assessment and evaluation of environmental and technical liability risks for industrial companies and sites. Alexander has provided consulting services to industrial and commercial clients for a variety of industry sectors including chemical, metal processing, automotive, metallurgical, construction material and textile. Alexander also supports a leading German automotive manufacturer’s environmental department at four separate sites (three production facilities and one chemical facility) where his work comprises the analysis and evaluation of premises pollutants, brownfields management and remediation, providing support in material recycling and disposal, as well as risk assessments. Alexander holds a Diploma in Geography (Natural and Social Science) and is trained as a facility environmental manager.
