Biography

Prof. Dr. med. Florian Daniel Zepf is Junior professor for Translational Neuroscience in Psychiatry and Neurology at the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Psychosomatics and Psychotherapy at RWTH Aachen University, and at the Jülich Research Center (Jülich Aachen Research Alliance, JARA Translational Brain Medicine). He is the winner of the prestigious „Young Minds in Psychiatry Award“ donated by the American Psychiatric Association (APA), the American Psychiatric Institute for Research and Education (APIRE) and AstraZeneca. Apart from this he also is the recipient of a number of other awards, among these the Donald J. Cohen Fellowship Award donated by the International Association of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Allied Professions (IACAPAP, 2006) and the International Travel Fellowship Award of the Society of Biological Psychiatry (SOBP, 64th Annual Meeting, Vancouver, 2009). He is the member of the editorial board of the Journal of Pediatric Sciences.
