Biography
Mr. Klaus P. Stegemann is the Chief Financial Officer at Siemens Corporation since June 2009. Mr. Stegemann served as the Chief Financial Officer and Member of Executive Management Board of Siemens AG, a holding company of Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc. from October 1, 2005 to 2008. He served as the Chief Financial Officer of Siemens AG, Germany. He served as Acting Chief Financial Officer of Diagnostics Division at Siemens Aktiengesellschaft (Siemens AG). Mr. Stegemann served as Chief Financial Officer of Siemens Healthcare of Siemens AG from January 1, 2008 to November 30, 2008. He served as the Chief Financial Officer of Siemens Corporation from 2002 to 2005. Since February 2002, Mr. Stegemann served as Chief Financial Officer of Siemens Corporation (New York) and since June 2004, he also assumed responsibility for coaching the Siemens Corporation Chief Information Officer of America's organization. He served as the Chief Financial Officer of the worldwide Angiography, Fluoroscopy and Radiographic Systems Business of Siemens AG Medical Solutions (Forcheim, Germany) since 1999, where he applied the financial strategies and tools that ultimately turned the business around in less than two years. Mr. Stegemann has an exceptional 30-year career in financial operations at Siemens, both in the United States and in Germany. He has taken on a variety of important global challenges, in each case making a major contribution to Siemens' business performance. Before he joined Siemens Medical, he cultivated a unique array of business unit experience in the United States. and Germany, including projects at its Transportation Systems, Automation & Drives, Power Generation, Industrial Solutions & Services Groups and at Siemens AG Corporate headquarters, where he helped solve the tough business challenges associated with restructuring, integration, and profitability improvement. Earlier in his career, Mr. Stegemann held a number of accounting, reporting, and planning positions in various productions and headquarters locations at several major Siemens businesses in Germany. In the early 1990s, he spent three years in the United States at Siemens Energy & Automation in Atlanta where he served as the Director of Business Planning & Financial Analysis. Mr. Stegemann served as a Director of Siemens (Pakistan) Engineering Co. Ltd. since August 15, 2008.
