Biography
Prof. Friedl (1971) conducts research in the fields of controlling, company management and company accounting. It deals with the development of controlling instruments, the analysis and design of incentive and remuneration systems, corporate governance and company evaluation. After studying physics at the TUM and business management at LMU Munich, he (2000) and habilitated (2004) at the Institute for Production Management and Controlling at LMU. From 2004 to 2007 Prof. Friedl held the Chair for Controlling at the Johannes Gutenberg-University of Mainz, before he was appointed professor at the TUM for business management apprenticeship - controlling in 2007. Research and teaching took him to Stanford University (2002/2003) and to the Warsaw School of Economics (2006).
