Biography
Prof. Hinrichsen (* 1968) conducts research in the field of industrial catalysis at the interface between natural and engineering sciences. The orientation of the research work is methodologically oriented along the process chain "particle design, reactor design, process design". The focus is on particle technology and catalyst shaping as well as on multiscale modeling in which the description of chemical reactions at elementary step level, numerical simulation and the modeling of chemical reactors are the subject of current research topics with regard to their design, dimensioning and driving.
