Biography
The scientific focus of Prof. Oberhoffer (1957) lies in the area of ​​general health research and prevention medicine in the age of children and adolescents with particular attention to cardiovascular parameters. Prof. Oberhoffer studied at the Johannes-Gutenberg University Mainz, here Vollapprobation and Promotion. She completed the specialist training for pediatric and adolescent medicine at the Olgahospital Stuttgart and at the University Pediatric Clinic of Mainz with a focus on pediatric cardiology. She received her habilitation from the Ulm University Children's Hospital and the National Heart and Lung Institute, Imperial College London. Prior to her professorship at the Chair of Sports and Health Promotion, she worked as a C3 professor for pediatric cardiology at the Children's Clinic of the Technical University of Munich and at the German Heart Center in Munich with the special expertise of fetal cardiology, here founding initiation and vice-president.
