Biography
In research, Prof. Roosen deals with questions of consumer behavior and demand analyzes. Special interest is cognitive aspects of perception as well as cultural influences on behavior. The research topics are the quality and safety of food, the nutritional and health behavior and the sustainable consumption of food and energy. Prof. Roosen studied in Bonn, Washington, and Iowa, and (1999) was a professor of economics (economics) at Iowa State University, USA. She then worked as an assistant professor at the Université cath. de Louvain in Belgium (1999-2002). Prior to her professorship at the Chair of Marketing and Consumer Research at the Technical University of Munich (2008) she was a professor at the University of Kiel.
