Dissertation on the transfer of thallium, cadmium, lead, and zinc from soil to selected crop plants and on the temporal and spacial distribution of metals in plants. Professional background 1986 - 1992 Member of scientific staff at a municipal environmental authority in Hesse as well as leader of a laboratory for environmental analysis 1992 - 2004 Member of scientific staff at the Akademie für Technikfolgenabschätzung (academy for technology assessement) in Stuttgart Fields of work: sustainable resource management (water, soil)
