Ayesha Dhillon-labrooy

Biography

Ayesha Dhillon-LaBrooy graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science and Molecular Biology at Murdoch University, Australia.  At the Telethon Kids Institute, University of Western Australia under the direction of Dr. Vanessa Fear, she undertook her Honour’s thesis on the role of Type I IFN alpha subtypes in allergic asthma onset and dendritic cell development, which she successfully graduated from with Honours in Molecular Biology in 2014. After taking part in the fourth LISA (Lower Saxony International Summer Academy in Immunology) in the summer 2014, she returned to TWINCORE to undertake her doctoral thesis under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Tim Sparwasser to unravel the role of novel compounds in the alleviation of T helper (Th)-2 and Th-17 type inflammatory responses.
