Corinne Ginkel

Biography

After finishing her studies in Biology at the University of Kaiserslautern Corinne Wilhelm worked at the Institute of Molecular Biology in Homburg/Saar. Between 2003 and 2007 she was conducting industrial research and education in the area of cell culture. From 2008 to 2010 she worked as a technician at the University of Zurich in the Cell Biology group doing research in different projects with adenoviruses and rhinoviruses. In August 2010 she then came to Hannover at the Institute of Transfusion Medicine (SUESC group, REBIRTH, embryonic stem cells). In Mai 2011 she moved to the TWINCORE, Division of Experimental Virology, working on species specificity of Hepatitis C Virus infection.
