Guilhermina Carriche

Biography

Guilhermina Martins Carriche completed her B.Sc. in Biochemistry at University of Minho (Portugal) in 2014. During the semester of 2013/2014, Guilhermina went abroad to attend to the Biomedical Engineering program at Twente University (Netherlands), where she did her bachelor research project (MIRA Institute) on the subject of “Induction of osteogenic differentiation on mesenchymal stem cells”. In 2014/2015 she was enrolled in the Master program in Health and Life Sciences at University of Minho (Portugal), having successfully conclude her post-graduation. Later on, she completed the M.Sc. in Molecular and Cellular Biology, at University of Porto (Portugal). During her Master Thesis, Guilhermina studied the role of the anti-inflammatory cytokine IL-10 on hematopoiesis.
