Biography
Sallyanne Williams serves as Executive Director of North American Operations. In this role, she is responsible for evaluating client requests for proposal, determining appropriate resources to assign to project teams for study proposals and study execution, and presenting UBC capabilities to potential clients at bid defenses. Sallyanne has overall responsibilities for North American Operations and is responsible for ensuring metrics for key activities are tracked by department, ensuring project financial plans are developed and tracked, and leading all monthly director meetings to evaluate individual project status and proactively address issues. Sallyanne works closely with the UBC Director of Regulatory Compliance and Process Implementation to continually update project systems, standard operating procedures (SOPs), project specific procedures, group-wide training programs, and study specific plans. It is her responsibility to ensure that global SOPs are maintained to comply with best practices and current global operational and regulatory requirements.Sallyanne has held positions of increasing responsibility for the past 17 years in the pharmaceutical industry, with extensive experience in the clinical research operations sector. She uses her knowledge to frequently collaborate with regulatory, project management, clinical monitoring, safety, data management, biostatistics, and other departments in the review of study procedures.Sallyanne holds a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Chestnut Hill College and a master’s degree in business administration from St. Joseph’s University.
