Biography
Daniela Nicklas took over the newly established TAO Chair for Computer Science, especially Mobile Software Systems / Mobility at the University of Bamberg, on April 1, In 2005 she promoted at the University of Stuttgart in the special research area "Nexus - Ambient Models for Mobile Context-Related Systems". After a PostDoc phase, she took over the Juniorprofess for database and internet technologies at the University of Oldenburg in 2008, where she also worked at the An-Institut OFFIS in the domains Automotive and Maritime Computer Science. The core of their research is the data management for often mobile, sensor-based systems, which are also being researched and developed in Bamberg, Germany, at the Living Lab Bamberg, a test room for Smart City applications
