Biography
Dr. Martin Düchs studied both architecture (Dipl.Ing.Univ.) and philosophy (M.A.) in Munich, Gothenburg and Paris. After he finished his Diploma in architecture (TU-Munich) he started working as an architect. From 2007 to 2014 he ran his own architectural office named „Blockrandbebauung – Architektur + Philosophie“. Besides his work as an architect he continued his philosophical studies and was awarded his Dr. phil. in Munich (LMU-Munich). Since 2014 he is working at the university of Bamberg as an assitant to professor Christian Illies.
Research Interest
His research focuses on architectural-ethics, environmental ethics, philosophical anthropology and aesthetics.
