Biography
Born 1961. Studied Protestant Theology, History and Philosophy in Kiel, Munich, Tübingen. 1987 First Theol. Examination in 1987 (North Elbian Protestant Church). 1989-1991 Vicariate in Hamburg, 1991 Second Theol. Examination, 1991 Doctorate to Dr. theol. in Kiel. 1991 Ordination to the Office of the Church. 1991-1993 Wiss.Ang. University of Kiel. 1993-1998 Wiss.Ass. University of Hamburg. 1997 Habilitation in the field of systematic theology. 1997-2003 Associate Professor for Systematic Theology at the University of Hamburg. 1998-2003 Professor (C4) for Protestant Theology specializing in social ethics and theology history at the University of the Bundeswehr Hamburg. 2003 Professor (W3) for Systematic Theology (Religion Philosophy, Dogmatics, Ethics) at the University of Osnabrück. In the collegiate period 2009/10 Fellow at the Center for Religion, Economics and Politics of the Collegium Helveticum in Basel. From 1.10.2014 Professor of Theological Ethics (W3) at the Evangelical Theological Faculty of the University of Münster and Director of the Institute for Ethics and Social Science (IfES)
