Biography
Dr. Daniel F. Heuermann teaches and conducts research at the Institute of Economics and Econometrics at the University of Regensburg. In the summer semester 2017, he represented the Chair of International Economics (Prof. Dr. Michael Pflüger) at the University of Würzburg. From 2009 to 2012, he worked in policy consulting in Berlin and participated in the development of regional approaches in active labor market policy. He wrote his dissertation at the Institute for Labor Law and Industrial Relations at the University of Trier and received his doctorate there in 2009. Prior to that, he completed an MPhil in Development Economics at the University of Cambridge (UK) and has since been a guest lecturer at the University of Bayreuth active. In the winter semester 2017/18, he has a research leave semester as part of the Academic Research Sabbatical Program of the University of Regensburg.
