Biography
Dr. Ulrich Walwei studied economics and received his doctorate in legal economics at the University of Paderborn (Dr. rer. Pol.). There he was a research associate at the finance department of Prof. Dr. med. Friedrich Butler. Since 1988 Dr. Ulrich Walwei at the IAB. He is deputy director of the IAB and until 2007 head of the research area "Growth, Demography and Labor Market". Since 2014, Dr. Ulrich Walwei Lecturer at the University of Regensburg. As a lecturer at the Institute of Economics and Econometrics, he offers courses in the field of empirical labor economics as well as applied microeconometrics as part of the Bachelor's and Master's degrees in economics.
