Biography
Marcus Hopf, born in 1990 in Landshut, studied from 2011 to 2014 the study course Bachelor of Science Mathematics at the University of Regensburg. He wrote his bachelor thesis on countable, geometric carriers of l1 homology classes. Until 2016, he continued his studies at the University of Regensburg in the study program Master of Science Mathematics with a minor in Business Information Systems. During his master's studies, he completed a semester abroad at the Universitat de Barcelona, ​​Spain. In addition to his studies, he worked at the University of Regensburg as a student assistant in the fields of mathematics and business informatics. In his master's thesis, he examined groups with context-free normal form and also delved into the areas of data quality and various methods in big data and online social networks. Since October 2016, Marcus Hopf has been working as a research assistant at the Chair of Business Informatics II at the University of Regensburg.
