Biography
Michael Mayer, born 1988 in Roding (Upper Palatinate), started his studies in Business Informatics at the University of Regensburg in 2009. He focused on banking informatics and information security. While working as a student assistant at the Chair of Business Informatics I, he dealt u. a. with the IT security topics Trust Models and Federated Identity Management. The latter was also the content of his bachelor thesis "Model Development for the Risk Assessment of IT Services within Identity Federations" in 2012. Michael Mayer then studied from 2012 in the "Honors" master's program Business Informatics at the University of Regensburg. He spent one semester at Kingston University London, focusing on agile software development and project management. He completed his studies in 2014 with his master's thesis, in which he developed a combinatorial optimization model for service selection with consideration of several users. Since November 2014, Michael Mayer has been working as a research assistant at the Chair of Business Informatics II at the University of Regensburg.
