Biography

Prof/Dr. Lutz Heide has received his PhD in Pharmaceutical Biology, University of Münster; Germany during the period of 1981. Currently, he is working as Professor in Tubingen University. His research has included Pharmaceutical challenges in developing countries and in disaster relief,Quality of anti-infective medicines in Africa; medical supply chain management in developing countries, pharmaceutical education in developing countries,Synthetic biology of microbial bioactive compounds; gyrase inhibitors, aminocoumarin antibiotics; prenyl transferases Based on this research and fellowship training he/she has received several awards and honors, such as 2012-PHÖNIX Prize of Pharmaceutical Sciences He have authoredUse of thin-layer chromatography to detect counterfeit sulfadoxine/pyrimethamine tablets with the wrong active ingredient in Malawi research articles/books.
