"Dr. Christian Almeder is currently working as a Professor in the Department of Department of Information & Operations Management, Viadrina European University , Germany. His research interests includes Lot-sizing and scheduling, Supply Chain Operations Planning (SCOP), Planning for perishable goods, Robust planning methods taking into account uncertainties (simulation-based optimization) , Development of metaheuristics and hybrid methods (integration of the exact solution algorithms and metaheuristics) to solve optimization problems. He /she is serving as an editorial member and reviewer of several international reputed journals. Dr. Christian Almeder is the member of many international affiliations. He/ She has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities.
