Maame Dufie Achampong-kyei

Biography

Mrs. Mame Dufie Achampong- Kyei is the Executive Director and the Chief Technical Operations Officer of GLICO LIFE. Prior to that, she was the Assistant General Manager in Charge of Risk Operations for GLICO GENERAL and also the Group Head, Enterprise Risk for GLICO GROUP. She has garnered close to seven years working experience in the Insurance Industry, working in different capacities at GLICO as a Marketing Executive, Underwriting Officer, Claims Officer and a Management trainee. She is a Chartered Insurer and an Associate member of the Chartered Insurance Institute (UK). Mrs. Achampong -Kyei holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management with Economics and Marketing from Aston University (UK) and a Master of Science degree in Insurance and Risk Management from Cass Business School (UK). She is currently a Doctorate of Business Administration candidate with the Swiss Management Centre (SMC University, Zurich). Mame pioneered the forming of an Enterprise Risk Management Department for the company and the entire GLICO Group at large which led to her appointment as Group Risk Manager. She is a Director on the GLICO Group and GLICO Life Boards, and also serves on the boards of GLICO General and GLICO Pensions.
