Biography

 A down-to-earth individual with quality education in Engineering and Mathematics and a focus on environmental engineering (sanitation option) at the PhD level, Dr. Roland S. Kabange is a Senior Lecturer in the Civil Engineering Department of Kumasi Technical University (formerly Kumasi Polytechnic).He worked tirelessly and gained accreditation status in the 2000/2001 academic year for the department through the National Accreditation Board (NAB) under the panel chairmanship of the late Professor Kwesi Andam of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). Under Dr. Lord Asamoah’s administration as Rector, Roland successfully wrote a NUFFIC project proposal on capacity building in the 2003/2004 academic year for the department which attracted one million Euro (€1,000,000.00) grant to the department – the first of its kind in the history of the university at the time.  He was the Head of Civil Engineering Department from 1997 – 2004 and 2014 – 2015 academic year.  Currently, he doubles as an adjunct Senior Lecturer with Ghana Technology University College (GTUC), Kumasi campus.
