Biography

  Dr. SARPONG, A. Smart is a Senior Lecturer and a Senior Research Fellow of the Kumasi Technical University’s Institute of Research, Innovation and Development – IRID. He is a Professional Statistician, Research Methodologist and a Data Management Consultant with several years’ experience in designing quality Statistical, Social, Child Labour and Gender, Economic, Agricultural, Job Evaluation, and Market Research. He has an excellent command over many Statistical Software Applications including; IBM-SPSS, R-console, MS Excel, LISREL and AMOS for Structural Equation Modelling, and STATA. He has consulted for many Students (Masters and PhD levels), Private, National and International organizations in the area of Research Design, Sampling and Data Collection, Data Analysis and Data Management, Research/Project Monitoring and Evaluation, and Research Reporting. He is also an Associate Senior Researcher of the Data Science Research Centre of the Seoul National University in Seoul South Korea. He is also a National Patron of the Ghana Association of Statistics Students – GASS and the Deputy Director of the KsTU Graduate School.
