Biography
Prof. Osei-Wusu Achaw is currently is an Associate Professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering in the Polytechnic. He has been lecturing at the Department since 1996. Between 1997 and 2005 he was the Head of the Department. From 2002 to 2008 he served as the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering in the Polytechnic. He has also been the Director of the School of Graduate Studies Research and Innovation in the Polytechnic from 2011 to 2013. Between 2009 and 2010 he was a visiting lecturer at the Department of Chemical Engineering at KNUST, Ghana. He also served as a programme monitor for the Renewable Energy Systems Engineering Department at Koforidua Polytechnic, Ghana, from 2008 to 2010. He is a Senior Consultant at the consulting firm Owach Process Solutions in Kumasi, Ghana. He is also a member of the Ghana Institution of Engineers and presently its Ashanti Regional branch chairman.
