Biography
Philip Atawura Nyasem is a lecturer at the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ). He lectures the course Media System. Philip is married with a baby boy. He confessed to the difficulty and stress involved in combining family life with life as a lecturer, although there is a lot of joy in being a father. “Most of the time, I have to come to the office to work because the boy will disturb me when I am home. Sometimes, when I want to mark assignments or examination paper, he will pick the papers and throw them away. It is stressful but at least the fun that I get from him is the jokes he makes.” In his leisure time, Philip likes to watch movies or soccer games.
