Biography
Dr. Fred Owusu-Ansah is a FORD FELLOW. He won the prestigious Ford Foundation Scholarship Award in 2004 to pursue a Ph.D degree programme in Environmental Science in the United States of America. He received his Ph.D in Environmental Science from State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry (SUNY- ESF) in Syracuse, USA. During his Ph.D programme, Dr. Owusu-Ansah took courses (concurrently) in Public Administration at Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, Syracuse University, New York, USA, where he focused on Public Policy Analysis and Development. In the course of his studies, Dr. Owusu-Ansah won a number of awards. These include CSTEP Scholar Award in 2005/2006, SUNY-ESF Alumni Association Memorial ScholarshipAward in 2008and Maple Leaf Award in 2011.
