Research Interest
Agronomy and crop breeding on subjects of prime importance in terms of sustainability. For instance, crop yield potential components, development of density-independent cultivars, plant density and stability, genotype by environment interaction, plant-to-plant variability and genotype buffering, intracultivar variation and procedure to conserve breeder's seed, heterosis and combining ability, homozygotic versus heterozygotic vigor, dryland production, and breeding for tolerance to biotic and abiotic stresses.
