Biography
Christina –Grammatiki Tsopela has specialized in Pediatrics at the ‘’Aghia Sophia’’ Children’s Hospital. She has worked in an NGO that provided primary healthcare for vulnerable social groups such as uninsured Greek children, refugees and immigrants. While there, she participated in the implementation of an integrated program to prevent and control HIV and Hepatitis B infection. Through her work at Cleo, she has taken part in international research collaborations on antibiotic resistance patterns and in the surveillance of hospital acquired infections in pediatric hospitals. Recently, she has also been involved in the development of hospital antibiograms.
